Gwenn Thomas
Blue Raga

Gwenn Thomas is an artist who lives and works in New York. She is a graduate of the Cooper Union School of Art. Her recent work examines how photography shapes our contemporary perception of painting. Her prints show intricate and textured line work, structured after a book page or skeletal architectures. They also demonstrate an ongoing fascination with the aesthetics of repetition. She is represented by Arts Projects International, NY and Galerie Hafemann, Wiesbaden, Germany. Her work is included in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art; The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, TX; Philadelphia Museum of Art; The Progressive Art Collection, Mayfield, OH; University Kentucky Art Museum; Lexington, KY; Charles Saatchi, London, UK; Sao Schlumberger, Paris, France, and Centro de Arte Moderna José de Azeredo Perdigão – Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon, Portugal. Recently she has shown at Blue Star Contemporary Art Center, San Antonio, TX, Yvon Lambert New York, Florence Lynch Gallery, NY, Art Projects International, NY and Galerie Hafemann, Wiesbaden, Germany.
