BAU Institute Edition 2009 is a portfolio of 25 archival pigment prints created by BAU Institute Fellows and guest artists. It is printed with archival inks on 11x17” Hahnemuhle cotton rag paper. This inaugural collection honors the artist Michael Goldberg (1924-2007), a dear friend and important member of the New York School of painting, who lived and worked in Italy for many years. Master Printer Katy Martin is editioning and printing the portfolios.

Suzanne Silver

Suzanne Silver was born in New York City. Silver studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and received an AB from Smith College and an M.F.A. from The Ohio State University. Suzanne Silver has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. She is currently a faculty member in the Department of Art at The Ohio State University where she teaches drawing and painting. Silver advocates an expansive approach to the medium of drawing and combines unexpected materials to create a visual language that is open to multiple readings.
